All of our wine selections are from Illinois and Missouri producers.
We have recently partnered with Bin No. 51 and are carrying several domestic wines from their wine and spirits store.  For your convenience wines are priced by the bottle and the glass.

 

WHITE WINE

Alto Vineyards Traminette | 7/26

Semi-dry, floral aroma with spice and key lime flavors.

Mount Pleasant Villagio | 5/18

If you like Pinot Grigio, you’ll love this wine. It’s crisp, fruity and fresh!
Pairs well with spicy dishes, pasta with cream sauce, cheeses, and fruit.

2009 Alias California Chardonnay  | 4/14

A blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer and Riesling.  Beautiful citrus flavors balance against slightly softer tropical fruit and honey apricot notes

2009 Two Prince Riesling  Germany  7|26

Delicate flavors of apricot and bectarine, with a lovely, crisp finish.
“P2″ can be drunk with all sorts of starters, seafood and white meat or simply on its own.

 

 

 

RED WINE

Alto Vineyards Chambourcin |9/32

Like a Pinot Noir, with berry & spice aromas and flavors of juicy red cherries,
freshly roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate. Pairs perfectly with grilled
meats, Italian foods and hardy stews.

Von Jakob Winery Country Red | 7/26

A foch, chancellor and chambourcin blend of grapes. Toasted, buttery,
black cherry aroma—balanced and smooth. Semi-sweet.

Mount Pleasant Claret Reserve | 9/34

Brilliant ruby red-violet hue. Cranberry, cherry pit and plum aromas.
This medium bodied red is zippy, zesty red that has soft tannins and lively
acidity. Pairs well with prime rib, ham, lamb, and mushrooms.

Chaumette Assemblage | 7/25

Crafted in a northern Rhone style with a proprietary blend of
mainly Norton and other estate-grown grapes. Medium-bodied, with
aromas of cherry, strawberry, citrus peel and hints of black pepper.

2009 Cannonball Cabernet Sauvignon   | 8/30

Aromas of fresh berries, spice and pepper with a faint background of vanilla oak are very much reflected in the mouth.

2009 A-Z Pinot Noir | 10/38

Super sexy and spicy on the nose with aromas of apricots, blueberries, Bing cherries, blood oranges, gingerbread, white pepper, sweet Eastern spices, violets, tea and sweet pipe tobacco. In the mouth, the wine has refreshing acidity with silky tannins and rich flavorsmirroring the aromatics.

Augusta Norton | 10/38

Dry red, full body, intense flavors, mouth-filling, oak aged.  Gold medal winner.  Pairs will with Stea, past, and rich cheese.

 

DESSERT WINE

 

Chaumette Bouvet Blanc | 6/22

Semi-sweet made from Chardonel grapes. Light and fruity with
aromas of pear, peach, honey and a hint of spicy ginger.

2010 Besitos Moscato Cheste Spain  5|18

Fragrances of fruit and aromas typical of the grape itself.  It is sweet and lightly sparkling, Moscato although essentially a dessert wine, can be enjoyed as a refreshing aperitif.  Can be paired with slices of salami or fresh cheese, with surprising results.

2004 Mt. Pleasant Vintage Port |9

Rated as one of the best port producers in the country, our full bodied, rich wine is loaded with berries in the aroma and flavor.  Delicious paired with, Chocolate, or as your favorite dessert.

Alto Vineyards Shawnee Gold | 5/18

Sweet White – Later harvest Vidal Blanc.  Balanced & Complex German style wine.

 

BEER

Shlafly Pale Ale | 3

Amber-colored, medium-bodied British-style
ale with a smooth, mildly-hoppy character.

Shlafly Hefeweizen | 3

This unfiltered American wheat ale is light in color,
body and bitterness,
with the delicious finish of wheat malt.

Shlafly Kölsch | 3

A golden-colored, medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing ale.
This style, which originated in Cologne, is well balanced,
mild mannered, and a perfect companion for any occasion.

Charleville Half-Wit Wheat |4

A cross between an American Wheat and a Belgian Wit, this refreshing ale is made with white wheat, ground corriander, and fresh whole oranges!

Charleville Hoptimistic IPA |4

Hoptimistic IPA (India Pale Ale) has intense hop bitterness and flavor.  This ale is further characterized by fruity, floral and citrus-like aromas due to American-variety hops.
